Natural pumice stones are formed during volcanic eruptions. When viscous lava with a high carbon dioxide content rises quickly to the surface, it first foams up and then cools down, creating a spong-like structure. The most beautiful pumices have an even distribution of pores. Since ancient times pumice stones have been used to remove callused skin. Our pumice stones are also quite visually pleasing and decorative.
The colour of a pumice stone can vary, depending on the composition of the lava. Our black pumice stone is quite hard and has large pores.
